With a final closing in 2005, BioStar I managed $29M of committed capital. BioStar I was organized to invest exclusively in seed and early-stage medical device companies in various medical disciplines. The BioStar I portfolio includes cardiology, orthopaedic, gastroenterology, pulmonary, urologic, and ophthalmologic startups, and a number of companies have exited. BioStar I was closed on December 31, 2015.
